Finished these two this week.

I read this book a few years ago and it was one of the most interesting reads. Also the title is absolutely amazing.

A nice evening in with my doggos and a good book.

I was on a bit of a break from reading, but I got back into this book and will likely finish tomorrow.

Next read. I'm really looking forward to starting an adult series. I hope I end up liking it.

This book was devastating and beautiful. Having lost someone very close to me, who I wasn't ready to lose, this book resonates with me. I think it would be a good book to help anyone deal with a heart crushing loss.

I loved this book. I always love Maguire's reimagining of fairytales. And I absolutely love the big reveal at the end!!

To consider what other people might say is hardly a good reason to take action or defer it.

The Girl of Ashes

Currently reading for an online book club.
It is interesting so far, waiting for the story to really start.

I'm only sixty pages in, but I like it so far. I'm a huge fan of Gregory Maguire. I love how he puts an adult spin on fairytales and then tells them from a perspective different from the original.

I loved this book. I feel there was a lot of intrigue and it kept you guessing most of the book. I also enjoyed that we as the audience got to see how all of these little things meant one thing to us but something different to the characters and that we also got to see how the day developed.
