Cleverly written backwards and kept me hooked
This book was enjoyable to read but I got annoyed with the characters towards the end. It wasn't unput down able but it as OK.

Wow. This book. Absolutely beautiful and so emotional. I. Just don't know how else to explain my feelings for this book but it will always be a favourite for me
This book gave me nightmares. It shouldn't have, it's not particularly gruesome or violent but still I had nightmares. Lots of twists and unexpected things in this and I'll never be able to look at a seashore again
I enjoyed this book. It felt like sitting down with friends hearing their woes.and I was rooting for frankie throughout
Being childless not by choice is a hard position to find yourself. This book is a great resource it remind you that you're not alone and gives some practical steps and exercises to start exploring the what next.im sure it would also be a great resource for those supporting someone who finds themselves in this situation. A great read
This is the first cosy mystery I've read and I found it an enjoyable and calming read. A nicely put together plot line set against the backdrop of a tea shop but with enough suspense to keep you reading
An enjoyable read set in a scenario I don't know too much about. Well thought out with engaging characters and made me want to find out more
This book shows the darker side of break ups. It didn't end how I thought it would at all and left me a little bit angry at the person involved. But not everything in life has a happy ending
A fascinating look at the age of technology and how ai is playing a role in the human world
Enjoyable look at how people and events can shape your future. I expected a little more pizzazz from this book or a little more excitement and twist but it never really came.
We've all been in that situation where our mouth acts before the brain engages. This book takes it a bit further and leaves you cringing at times at what people have said. That being said some of the chapters did drag on a little
This was a chilling tale and I was hooked
An uncomfortable predicament. I felt for the friends in this, both of them, we all have friends like this but the bitterness in it made it a difficult one to be sympathetic to
Uncomfortable. Chilling. And utterly twisted. Told sympathetically but leaving you feeling cold.
The first Wilbur Smith book I've read. My grandmother was always a fan of Smith but I had never read one until now. It didn't disappoint. Beautifully told story which gives life to the characters and left me wanting more
Enjoyed this as much as the first Courtney novel. Captured my interest well written and heartfelt.
Everything I don't remember was so so. It didn't capture me completely but I still finished it.
I picked this book for the cover and I'm not ashamed to admit that. It turned out to be such a wonderful book. Lots of emotion and I really connected with the characters. All had their own individual issues and it was all put across so well
A lovely book. The main character is both relatable and true. I was rooting for her throughout. Throw in the nod to classical music and I was hooked.
A superb book and still kept me guessing even at the end
Ooh this book creeped me out. Psychologically twisty and very well written.
This book had a good premise. And I'd heard good things about James Patterson. The book had some twists and turns and I guess was quite a thrilling plot line but it just seemed too unreal for me. It didn't catch my imagination and the ending just made me sigh.
I've only recently started reading Wilbur smiths books and ate up the first two of the Courtney tales. This one however was mediocre. I didn't hate it but it didn't have me hooked like the first 2 until the end.
I've followed simple politics for a long time and was keen to read this book. A great introduction to politics and the political ideals of the UK. Informative without being patronising.
I fell in love with this book. Told from the dogs perspective and from the outset I knew I was going to cry and I was not wrong. Beautifully written.
