This was a very interesting read! It has a fairy tale taste to it but combined with black comedy. It is a page turner! Definitely a pick! Maybe the best book I've read in a long while!

I-read-and-eat It sounds great. And such a lovely cover! 8y
lunarseareads @I-read-and-eat it was the cover that got me noticing the book! I cannot stop looking at it, such lovely details 💕 8y

Finding Audrey | Sophie Kinsella

This was my vacation book and despite the heavy issue it's dealing with, it is a really light and enjoyable book. It gives you a very clear idea about anxiety. The characters are real and lovely. I could not put it down and finished it in a few days. It is an enlightening book, definitely a recommend.

Me Before You | Jojo Moyes

I finished the book in no time, it just keeps going, probably very late into the night. The story is far from being a unique plot however the characters are painfully human, the way they deal with difficulties and agony is what makes this book so readable. Though I did not make me cry.

There were some bits that I enjoyed, the poetry was moving but sadly, in the end, the book ended up as another YA book that didn't make a lasting impression.

Looking for Alaska | Green, John

Mehso-so

I do not know why but the only John Green book that made an impression on me was The Fault in Our Stars. All of his other books just blended and I cannot even tell them apart. But this book made a lovely read by the poolside, it was enjoyable but not like TFIOS.

HotCocoaReads I kinda felt the same way about Green's books, but I loved TFIOS! 9y

Ray Bradbury is one of my favorite authors and this book is such a fascinating one. For a book that is dealing with space and aliens and technology, it has quite of a poetic language, an absolute treat.

Gabypen I absolutely love this book! I own this exact copy, and it's gorgeous in every sense of the word. I'm glad someone gets me! 😅🚀 8y

If you are familiar with de Botton's work, no doubt you are going to love this one. After Essays in Love, it is such a delight to read another novel written by him. His return to novel is at its finest.

My ultimate pick-me-up book. Also it does not get any prettier than Penguin Threads. This edition makes reading Emma even more beautiful, perfect for cozy night readings.

Loved it. I have always been curious about Andy Warhol and what better way to read it directly from his pen? It was a very enjoyable read, I finished it on two day, I couldn't put it down.

A wonderful read to get you in the mood before or during Christmas with three beautifully written stories full of Christmas miracles. Lovely cover, too.

I really wish that I knew about this book when I was in college. It would have made my Classical Literature class way easier. It is written in a way that is very enjoyable and very through.

I-read-and-eat Beautiful picture and I felt the same about the book. (Luckely I am still in college) 8y

Rilke is my absolute favorite poet and this is saying a lot considering that I have a degree on English Lit. His poetry means a lot to me but the thing that makes this book my most beloved poetry book is Stephen Mitchell's translation which is the best compared to the others. Don't miss out!

I read this book when I was travelling so it was enjoyable and easy to read on busses and in cars. So it was not earth-shattering or anything but it made bus trips bearable.

As a huge Doctor Who fan, I think it is great to have this book. There is nothing new if you have watched all the episodes but it is wonderful to take a walk down the memory lane. I usually keep this book on my bedside table so that I can go through it whenever the mood strikes.

A book I found while I was travelling so it is so precious to me. It made me so eager to hiking in the woods. It was a quite a realistic reading about hiking in the wilderness. Also it was full of interesting facts. All in all it was a very enjoyable reading for me, I definitely recommend.
