As I read this book, I couldn‘t help but think about what it would have meant for me to have it when I was 13, what it would have changed about how I felt about my queerness and how my gender and sexual identities grew and developed. The Scapegracers is beautifully written, funny, and a really funky idea. Loved every page.

This book was so different than what I had expected. Dark and gloomy and haunted, I loved reading about the Earnshaws, the Lintons, and the Wuthering Heights that saw everything. The only thing I didn‘t really enjoy was Heathcliff and the racist stereotypes enforced through his character, which is enough to bring this book to a 4/5.
