I enjoyed this interesting and often disturbing retelling of The Wizard of Oz.

This took me forever to read. The beginning got my attention, but the rest fell flat for me.

Just finished this book and I really enjoyed it. It was a very fast read and I wanted to learn more about the family. I recently saw Ann Patchett and Symphony Space and one of the things she said was that she purposely left lots of holes in the stories because she knows the reader can figure things out and I agree. its the way families tell stories. Great book.
