A bit slow in the beginning, but I like the characters and the plot line and the idea of monster good and bad. 4.5⭐
"Yeah, I mean, most people want to escape. Get out of their heads. Out of their lives. Stories are the easiest way to do that"
- Kate Harker
I finished this book and felt a bit loss 😔 I mean... I've been on roller coaster of feeling throughout entire book and it stop suddenly! I can't... i just can't...
You can read my review (a rambling thoughts) on my goodreads
"Besides, immense power is acquired by assuring yourself, in your secret reveries, that you were born to control things."
I craved the escape that fiction provided
I finished this book with one word: d.a.m.n.!!! 😱
Never thought the ending will be like that. I'm gonna talk more about it on a video, will be uploaded on Wednesday. If some of you already read this, then feel free to watch and discuss it together.
I thought this one is a mystery book, turns out it's a fantasy!
Following a boy named Lee Raven who cannot read due to dyslexia. He stole a book that can talk and it told him where it comes from.
This one would be perfect for a kid who love fantasy story
Rarely find a book that made me laughed hard and moved in one whole story. But this book did it!
I rated 3/5 🌟
Sci fi is just not my thing. That's for sure after I read this book. I just don't get it.
But thriller and mysterious part is thumbs up.
The ending is meh. Would be better if the author finally give him a certain life after being wobbled entire story.
It's been ages since I read chicklit. But Jane Green never failed me.
Meskipun apa yang dialami Jemima tampak seperti TGTBT (too good to be true), tapi penulis tetap memasukkan bentuk perjuangan yang harus dijalani Jemima untuk mencapai titik balik kesuksesan/kebahagiaan? (tergantung lihat dari sisi mana) dan itu membuat cerita ini jadi cukup realistis.
Gue kasih 4/5 🌟
Highly recommended for those who love to read contemporary romance
Good job Robert Galbraith!
Keindahan bisa ditemukan di mana pun jika kau mau berhenti untuk melihatnya, tapi pergumulan dari hari ke hari membuatmu lupa bahwa kemewahan gratis seperti ini ada.
The story itself is quite interesting. Makes me picturing scenes in James Bond movie on my head.
Maybe because I read it in Indonesian version, some translations feel odd. Honestly, three quarter of this book just tortured me because of that. But overall I gave it 3.5/5 🌟
