Started with a bang! Just became less and less believeable and interesting to me. Maybe I wasn't in the right mood to read it but I just kinda felt like a chore to finish.

Listening to this... Wasn't sure in the beginning, but I'm very intrigued...
I've heard this isn't the greatest of her novels. I find myself interested enough to keep going, but don't know if I'm loving it.
What are your thoughts on this one?
25% off...i mean I said I wouldn't buy any more books this year, but... How could I resist 😂📚
Waiting for my car to be serviced, reading A Simple Favor. Kinda weird, but its definitely intriguing.
Guys, I'm going to have to put this one down for a bit and maybe come back to it... I just don't think I'm in the mood for it. 🤷♀️
I just love Ellen so much. This is a funny quick read/listen to. Quirky, sarcastic, makes you laugh out loud. It's not a tell all memoir or anything like that, simply some interesting thoughts and ideas.
Definitely exactly what I needed for a light, funny, uplifting read. I would recommend for sure. 😊
Why I've been trying to read like a maniac. Listening to one on Audible and when I can sit and focus then I pick up my physical copy! I don't know if I'll make it, but I'm going to keep trying!
Love Actually meets Bridget Jone's Diary meets rated R Hallmark movie.
It was definitely a light hearted cheesy romance that I happily indulged.
Was it the absolute best love story, no. Did I care who ended up with who, not really. I didn't understand "why" for a bit or feel the desire for certain people to end up with each other... Trying not to spoil lol.
But none the less, it was good. ?
This book was heaaaavvvvy. Not for the weak of heart. It is a raw, unpretty look into the life of a drug addict. I often felt extremely uncomfortable while reading, but yet felt motivated to finish. I felt it was important for me to dive into this book because I've never understood how deep and troubling drug addiction can be. I admire the bravery and courage Nic Sheff displayed in writing this memoir.
Wow, what a beautiful story. I read it with my kids. They were pretty into it, though it is quite long for a 4&6 year old to sit and listen to....especially when they're waiting for their dessert.
Picked this up for my kids to open on Christmas Eve. We usually do two books before bed time on Dec 24th. I got them Mr. Tiger Goes Wild & this one!
Have you read it before? If you have kids this one is a must. It's hilarious.
Laughed out loud when I read this quote today. 😂 #icanrelate
I like Sally Field in many of her roles. I was excited to learn more about her and hear about her experience in many of the films I love. Sadly for me, it had a very negative energy. I commend her for sharing her story, I love a good memoir, but I don't think this is one I'd recommend to many. If you're a die hard Sally Field fan then go for it. If you grew up loving Gidget and The Flying Nun, proceed with caution.
#Goodreads 100 Books You Should Read in a Lifetime.
The highlighted ones are the ones I haven't read yet! I'll be starting with Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.
This is going to be one of the books I read in January! Have you read it yet? #2019OnlineBookclub
We love our #locallibrary so much. We go each Wednesday and try to read at least two books a day! We've been doing a holiday/winter theme this month. What are your favorite #holidaystories ?
Started this today. I love the delicious word choices she uses!!!
Meh. Held my interest, but wish I didn't listen to all the hype. I felt like my expectations were too high going into it. Also I listened to it on Audible, and hated how the female narrator tried to do a man's voice. Like I said, it held my interest, but found it pretty unrealistic and a little juvenile.
Book to help me reach my 2018 goal. Have you read any of these?
So far, so good, but also kinda creepy and weird. Has a Gone Girl - ish feel to it.
Wonderful classic. A story that has inspired so many and continues too. I loved finally reading such a highly acclaimed novel, and even though it was written by one of the greatest writers of all time, I couldn't stop picturing these beloved characters as the Mickey Mouse version I grew up watching each Christmas.
Absolutely beautiful.
I love that it's a full circle story! The characters were immediately interesting to me. It played out like a drama, but with wonderful romance, heartbreak, crime! The writing was incredible.
I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading well written stories, that will keep you entertained. I also loved that I wasn't left wanting more from the story or characters! It was such a satisfying read.
