5 ⭐️!!!! Absolutely loved this book! Finished it in 2 days! Could have finished it in 1, but apparently it‘s frowned upon to neglect work to read 😆. If you haven‘t read this I would highly recommend it! I can‘t wait to read the other books in this series!!

For me….this was worth the hype! This is not my usual genera of book to read but it was sooo good! And I can see why people are recording their reaction when the read the last chapter because…WHAT?!?!!!! Literally can‘t wait for the next book to be released!! And I‘ll be on maternity leave so it‘s perfect! 😆

Wow!! For me this was a 5 star book!!! It was twisty and suspenseful! I really thought I had everything figured out, but in usual Alice Feeney way I was wrong. I would recommend this book to anyone!

Ok let‘s talk about this book! First off, it wasn‘t horrible, however, I was expecting more. In my mind I thought “wow this book is so good they made a show out of it”. The book wasn‘t exactly what I would call a thriller personally. Now, I did the audiobook version so maybe that had something to do with it. But the show….WOW!!! Literally nothing like the book! Almost everything was different. I honestly like it better than the book. Thoughts??

I love discovering new authors and this was one of them! This was such a good book from start to finish. The only thing I “disliked” (and that word is still not the best to use) is the chapters from Leo‘s point of view. They didn‘t feel completely necessary. All they really achieved was the build up to tell us the first girl they found wasn‘t his sister. Nonetheless, this was overall a great book and well worth the read!

Yes, I love booktok. I‘ve gotten a lot of great reads from it, but this is one I haven‘t seen talked about much at all. It was really, really good! I couldn‘t believe how much I hated one of the main characters! Every part of this book had me hooked from the start. I highly recommend it!!!

I was hoping for more with this book for as much as it was talked up. It was a bit on the slow side to get through. I didn‘t care for the way his wife‘s affair was written. It felt like “fluff” throughout the book and to me the ending where it all comes together still wasn‘t great. Really the ending all together felt messy and rushed

The second book I felt started a bit slow. It didn‘t seem to pick up until about half way through. The ending was good though! I definitely didn‘t see it coming!

Another great read by Freida McFadden!! Some parts were a bit on the predictable side, but overall very twisty and it keeps you engaged from start to finish!

I honestly don't know how I feel about this book. For those with triggers related to violence/abuse, this is definitely not for you. Looking past that, the story wasn't the worst. It was sad to hear what these poor people went through, but from a psychological standpoint, it was interesting. I'd say read this one at your own risk.

Wow! First off, this book had me hooked from the beginning. I swore I knew how it was going to end.... I was so wrong! Excellent plot twist!

Who was your favorite character in this book?? Mine, hands down, is Jumpin'!!

Just started reading this and for some reason, this line stood out...
"....the definition of a real man is one who cries without shame, reads poetry with his heart, feels opera in his soul, and does what's necessary to defend a woman. "

Anybody else love this?!

The title makes it sound more interesting than it was. Not necessarily a bad book, but not one I would read again.

For a documentary book, it was good. The audible version was a bit on the slow side so it seemed to take a while to get through, but it's very informative.
