Giving this book another read after the author gave a talk at my company, where I just started working. I've read the ebook version of this previously, and it's a hilarious story. Also, terrifying.

(This book is due out in October, Random House)

A fun book about time travel, a subject of interest. Welford is a wonderful storyteller. It's a middle grade book that takes the reader seriously. A+.

Girl in Pieces | Kathleen Glasgow

Fitting to use the Arizona filter for the photo. This was a beautiful, sad, raw book about a girl who self-harms. I plucked it at BEA because the cover was so lovely and curious; when I read the summary, I didn't want to read it. But I read it, and I'm glad I did. Charlie is amazing. Read this book.

A fantastic illustrated account of how Tetris came to be. Much more political than I anticipated!!

It was all right! Art was good, but the story was okay. A little clichéd. And I never got the fridge thing—I think that element of Evie's character could have been teased more.

This was an amazing graphic novel. I'm ashamed to say this is my first Raina read and now I'm hooked. Her art is gorgeous. The colors by Braden Lamb are also superb. By the end of it, I was teary. GHOSTS also offers an honest look at cystic fibrosis. Please read, you won't regret it!

A beautiful book that discusses death in a powerful, sensitive way. Everyone should read this, particularly those who are becoming all too aware of mortality. I feel like I've grown a bit as a person after reading this book.
