Five YA books set in the wild west. All of these books are really fun. I especially loved Every Hidden Thing because I'm so intrigued by The Bone Wars.

My favorite Halloween tradition is reading the newest Lockwood & Co. book. I need Jonathan Stroud's to keep this series going forever! For me, reading these books is kind of like riding a rollercoaster because they make me so happy and so scared at the same time. I think I had a crazy grin on my face for this entire book.
I loved Rysa Walker's Chronos Files so so much. Her new book is a perfect Halloween-season read. It's great for anyone who loves a conspiracy theory or anyone who's intrigued by ghosts and supernatural powers. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be reading the next book in the series.

No book club trip to Nashville would be complete without a trip to Ann Patchett's bookstore, Parnassus.
Five YA books about grief, loss, and finding family.

An absolutely gorgeous sequel. I liked The Scorpion Rules pretty well, but this follow-up blew me away. Beautiful writing, a cast of incredibly interesting characters, and some very emotional moments. And I got to spend the entire book with Talis and the other AI.
I enjoyed this YA novel set during WWI so much that I immediately went out, bought the sequel, and read it in one day. It reminded me in the best of ways of Eva Ibbotson's books. Also, this would be a great book for Downton Abbey fans.
Some of the books I'm reading to commemorate WWI's centennial years. These are perfect for younger readers.

Just finished Empire of Storms (book 5 in the Throne of Glass series) last night. I basically spent all afternoon / evening finishing it. But, the thing is, up until about 3/4 in I was kind of bored (there, I said it). How can I be kind of bored for 3/4 of the book then finish the last 1/4 in one day and end up in tears? Sarah J Maas is a good closer. I guess that's why I keep coming back for the next book.
Two of my very favorite books. Signed by the author.
