The Greenhouse is a 2016 young adult fiction and young adult family fiction novelette by American author Steven Bowman and inspired by Katie Christy, his cousin. It is the debut book that he has ever written. The story is based in the fictionalized city of Blackthorne, England, in the Summer of 1950, and revolves around a forty-four-year-old man with Glaucoma, named Mr. Pryce, including friends and some families.
