What is most lacking in Congress today are members with institutional pride and loyalty, who understand the essential and difficult task of peacefully reconciling diverse interests through processes of negotiation and compromise.
As a basic white college grad student, I can say this is 100% accurate
No, I don't mean love, when I say patriotism. I mean fear. The fear of the other. And it's expressions are political, not poetical: hate, rivalry, aggression. It grows in us that fear. It grows in us year by year. We've followed our road too far.
An empathetic, non-judgemental, and non-condescending guide to getting a medical or surgical abortion. I wish high schoolers read this during sex Ed.
A great funny alternative and diverse history book. Would be great for a high school student!
A fairly good graphic novel medical memoir. Maybe not the one I would recommend first, but a great addition to the sub genre
"Earl was stony faced. "Everybody dies," he said. Actually he said "Irrybody dies," but that looks stupid written out somehow. How does writing even work? I hate this."

"I apologize for misreading the situation so egregiously," he said. Then--it was such a strange, old fashioned gesture--he basically bowed to her.
I remember when strangeness of ordinary life interacted with the imagined supernatural world in my own life. This novel stretches that to the limits of belief in a smart, funny, and slightly insane novel.
Almost done with the top book... Working my way through the stack😄🐊🐊🐊
"I didn't know love could leave the lights on all the time... I thought it took more naps... Or blinked. I didn't know it could go on and on like this without falling off an edge. Like pi.
