First read of the new year (that isn't a web comic) is a reread. I wish the whole series had been printed in English (RIP early Tokyopop.) I prefer the original order, but I do see how linear is easier for younger readers.

I may have binge watched the Blood Ties series (again) and been reminded that I never finished the book series it was based on. So into the shadows I go to read this 2006 reprinting of the 1991 and 1992 originals. Does it hold up to the test of time? We shall see!
Another from my shelf of non-read books, this one caught my eye due to it's vibrant cover. I love the deep blues that accent the both the apocalyptic and water themes.
Diving into Una McCormack's THE UNDEFATED, a colonialesk space opera with the tone of a historical novel.
One positive thing about moving is discovering books you've had for years but never read. I so love this cover.
Cure for a wet evening: a re-read of the ever entertaining Howl's Moving Castle with a kitty companion. So very different than the anime but no less enjoyable.
First book of 2019 is an oldy but a goody. Thought I'd keep it light ;)
