My movie is born first in my head, dies in paper; is resuscitated by the living persons and real objects I use, which are killed in film but, placed in a certain order and projected on to a screen, come to life again, like flowers in water.
pickGraphic essay, visual biography, philisophical graphic novel, I don‘t know how to define it but are definitions necessary anyway? For sure Pajak‘s brilliant work is a smart and enjoyable way to enter the world of Walter Benjamin, his not so fortunate life, his complex thought. Looking forward to the second book.
