I am going against the tide here by saying that I was disappointed by this book. I enjoyed the developing story of June's life as she met Mick and grew her family, but I found little to admire or like in any of the characters. They were all so careless about their lives. None of the characters valued themselves or anything OUTSIDE themselves. The total destructive nature of the "party" was so indulgent and kind of revolting. A miss for me.
