It is true. This is a The Long Winter ❄️. It‘s no coincidence that we‘re our little bookshop is in the same state as where Laura Ingalls Wilder‘s book takes place. Ughhh. So getting snow (lots of) in the middle of April may not be novel after all. This vintage version is in the shop for purchase. Link in the profile.
pickThis is such a fun book 📚 for young kids. It's about how a king 👑 can't find his story. Because he can't find it he doesn't want anybody reading the book until he does. The illustrations are fantastic and fun like the book. For a little more about it and the best ages for to be reading it, head to the website in my profile. This is a big thumbs up. 👍🏽
Spent some of the day going back to a book sale (twice) for my store and scored this Hilary Knight number. If you don't know, he did all the original illustrations for Eloise. I ❤️ his work. Sometimes it's hard to let go of these!
