I loved this book from the very start. The characters are wonderfully detailed and developed that you instantly fall in love with the heroes and despise the villains. Like great storytellers do, this book leads you into understanding why the characters are the way they are giving a perspective to wider eyes and open mind.

I got to read this as part of my book club. It was a good story. The characters were well developed. I just felt like there was always another thing happening. A lot of events in a timeline that made it feel like it wasn‘t ever going to end.

LoverOfLearning I haven't read this book since high school but I would like to read it again soon! It's sitting on my shelf all marked with notes and underlinings. 5y

I‘m a big fan of retelling fairytales with a new twist. This version of Beauty and the Best did not let me down. I did wish there was more to the last part but then again that is my desire, wanting.

The Starless Sea | Erin Morgenstern

I love the layering of the stories within the story. The complexity that comes back around to tie into a neat little package. Erin Morgenstern has a unique gift of storytelling in fairytales.
