A decent story with lots of potential, but after all was said and done, this book feel short. It's sad, bc it had a lot going for it (plot, characters, etc.), but the story lacked that punch or awe factor. Overall, it was decent!
Even more sad I talked my wife @TheBookKeepers into reading it too, but felt bad about it. I was always ahead of her in the reading, and towards the end i knew this wasn't to her standards, lol!

This was a book that came across my radar, unexpectedly. But I'm so very glad I did. This book really had a way of captivating you into his life without meaning to. Its raw unfiltered emotion, and passionately written as a sort of letter from a father to a son. Beautiful and poetic!

So far really enjoying this book. Lots of great information!!!

I currently work in Ocala, Florida and I am enjoying learning about the rich horse history. The “horse capital of the world” is a real thing here in Florida, contrary to what you might think!
