Really enjoying reading this book on a visit to North Carolina. The philosophy is a beautiful mix of intelligent prose and deep wondering. Conceptual literature.

Unlock my latest novel by following ‘Carl Henderson‘ on his quest to find the lie behind the truth behind the conspiracy. This cutting edge story from the author, who is both a Philosophy and Film School graduate, might give cause to question that which resides at the heart of our government and our security services. Only then might we understand the motives of the cyber hackers who hold the means to bring it all down. www.bubbleflight.com
Liked this to start with but I was distracted away from it and it‘s a shame because I‘ve heard it has an amazing ending. Hard to pick up again though....
Long, poetic, deep
Can anyone tell me anything about this book. I know it was made into a film
DO NOT try reading any of these books, they are about very complex ideas and are written in very small text. They are DENSE. I HAD to read them as part of a Philosophy degree, but you don‘t have to, so it would be best not to, in my opinion.
Bought the hardback but couldn‘t stand the characters or story, comic but not my style.
A great American author who distills the essence of the American dream in all its grubby detail... Brilliant!
The simplicity and efficiency of Hesse‘s prose make for a beautiful reading experience. This is a great one to start with if you are unfamiliar with his work and at only 156pp short and to the point.
This is my other Sci Fi offering about a group of aliens, passing on their revolutionary dna through the ages over millennia. Their purpose to communicate with their ancestors on a distant exoplanet when the time is right and mankind is ready for them to emigrate from their dying home plant to Earth. This is a new title of mine. It‘s an autobiographical account of my days as an undergraduate at The University of Cambridge studying Philosophy. People have all sorts of views and ideas about Oxbridge but this is an upfront close and personal inside view. Please read the back cover blurb. Buy on Amazon.co.uk or through my website: www.bubbleflight.com. You shouldn‘t judge a book by its cover, but what do you think? It is a high quality book 255pp
I have written three books, two Science Fiction and one autobiography.

The launch of my new novel, a political, cyber crime thriller has been put back as a friend, fellow writer and editor has set me the challenge of rewriting some of it. It should be complete within a month or so, watch this space....
This book is really of its time, but heh! The main guy is a Brit.... what‘s an American dude like Leo doing in the lead role of the equally generation defining movie? Guess it‘s got something to do with Dollars. Love the book and the film has all the ‘moments‘ it can take from the story. Alex Garland a bit cool writing and directing Ex Machina
Given this by a friend. Obscure Sci Fi often the best. This one is mad, but so weird and crazy you just have to keep turning pages
There must be someone out there who read this series. I was hooked as an alternative to Tolkien
Does any one remember these Penguin 60s. 60p and less than 60paged
Had to read this at school, didn‘t really like the story the characters or the style
Incredible inside view from the perspective of a schizophrenic Native American Chief who does not speak. It is his view of McMurphy, played by Jack Nicholson in the movie, which brings the story of the inner workings of a Psyche Ward to life.
Loved this book. Read it in a B&B in Brighton when it was raining for days on end.
Does anyone else have trouble with this guy‘s prose? I know it‘s cool and funky and zeitgeisty but it doesn‘t ‘scan‘. I‘m left feeling I‘m missing a lot of meaning or is it just poorly written?
Surely my favourite book. In my back pack whilst travelling for a year around the world. I read it three times. Beautiful descriptions, characters and stories. This book has it all
Very long and dense but worthy of the determination to get through it
So genuinely sad and moving. Only for those with a strong heart
Still superbly scary. From the viewpoint of the monster itself....
Perfect book given as a present by my oldest friend when I had lost my way in the world
This book had a powerful effect on me as I read it whilst travelling in New Zealand at a particularly impressionable Tom in my life
Read this having seen the film. It is much better than the movie, with a plot that is perfectly explained and an ending that makes sense
Incredible 1896 Maths Astronomy and Physics
I‘m a Cambridge Philosophy graduate but this was a little out there for me, too convoluted and abstract
First adult book I ever read.
With the exception of Buckthorn and the addition of Bluebell, the rabbits who set off from the southern end of the beech hanger early the next morning were those who had left Sandleford with Hazel five weeks before.
So exciting, an adventure worth revisiting
Was loving this book but stopped somewhere in the middle. Does any one else have that happen, Book Interupted, distracted by something and don‘t even know which page to go back to? Really cool ideas in this book.
A thrill to get an inside window with such a personal angle on an incredible piece of entertainment history and genesis. Does anyone know of more books like this?
Messy and crazy but ultimately a page turner and rewarding
