I really wanted to love this book! The premise sounded fun & cool, but I just couldn‘t do it.
The writing style was dry; I kept waiting for the story itself to get going, but it just felt like an ongoing prologue. Usually I give a book 100 pages before I jump ship; this time I barely made it to 50. I took a break thinking I‘d read something else and come back with fresh eyes, but instead I just read 4 other books that weren‘t this. #urbanfantasy

Loved this series; I don‘t remember how I came across the first book, but no one was more excited than I was when I finished and discovered it was a series and they were all released and ready to devour!
The story really moves, and the writing pulled me in almost immediately. I found it a pretty fast read; I think I finished the entire series in 3-5 days.
