I've never had a book hit the market on #BlackFriday before! My friend's dog Sasha thought this all very sniff worthy. This is my galley. We had a few slight changes. Just minor stuff thank goodness. Really looking forward to responses from the essay samples I sent out . . .

I thought my first post should be about a book that greatly influenced my writing. When I read Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell about six years ago I started considering how I would create a magical world, what I would do differently, how I would at the very least, mimic the footnote style found within its pages. Her voice is truly magical, as is this story. Gaiman was correct, suggesting it the greatest fantasy of the past 70 years . . .
