Started this one last night. Such a heart wrenching but important book to read.

All my university assignments are due this week and I‘ve submitted two already, so I‘m rewarding myself with a couple chapters before the next one. How does everyone find Lee Weeks‘ writing? I think it‘s honestly one of the more gritty mystery novels I‘ve read in a long time.
My fiancé just got me this absolute beauty. ? High hopes it will be as good as the cover looks!
Been given this by one of my fellow book lovers. Curious if any of you have read it and enjoyed it? ☺️
"You are the eldest Baudelaire child," they had said, kindly but firmly. "And as the eldest, it will always be your responsibility to look after your younger siblings. Promise us that you will always watch out for them and make sure they don't get into trouble."
This is a fantastic read for someone looking for a Picnic at Hanging Rock-esque mystery, with tones of the scary sometimes reality of religious fanaticism. A fairly short read, it makes for a good one to curl up with when you have a good cup of tea and a cat to snuggle with.
Let‘s see how this one turns out! I knocked over about four books from my TBR yesterday, but I have assignments to do now, so this one may take a little longer. 😅
An exploration of the foray into adulthood for a young woman in a time where such things are not so often thought about. A great pick, and especially if you‘re looking to enjoy some good Australian literature (which always seems to be in remarkably short supply).
Spock obviously has to pick the most morbid reading material he can find. #catsoflitsy
