Random book haul day! 📚
I‘ve had a productive night of reading. I wrapped up Box Brown‘s Tetris. Now if I could only find my old Gameboy!!
What a beautiful story! I know this is one I will reread over and over again. #graphicnovel
I just finished the audiobook of Killers of the Flower Moon. What a devastating true story. This one will stick with me.
I finished Good Talk by Mira Jacob today. I enjoyed this story and loved how it was illustrated. 👍👍
I seem to be on a Ruth Ware kick. I wrapped up The Woman In The Cabin this week. I ended up giving it 4 stars on Goodreads. The Lying Game is next on my list!
#jubilantjuly is moving along pretty well! I completed In A Dark, Dark Wood and American Born Chinese. That's two ✔'s on my goal list. Next up: I need to pick one of the MANY ebooks I have acquired and read it. I also need to complete the audiobook I'm currently listening to and select another graphic novel to read.
I'm excited to join the #JubilantJuly readathon.
Here are my goals:
*Finish the audiobook (Prologue To Murder) that I'm currently listening to ... I'm about 40% percent into it
*Finish In A Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware
*Read 2 graphic novels
*Read 1 ebook
Thanks to @Andrew65 for hosting!
I'm enjoying In A Dark, Dark Wood. I was poking around on Goodreads and people seem to be split on this book. Anyway, I'm looking forward to a long weekend that includes my nose buried in books. Wishing you the same! #fridayreads
I started The Way We Live Now by Anthony Trollope on May 15th and just finished it tonight. I'd guess that I read about 40% and the rest I listened to on audio. It was an enjoyable ride getting to know these characters. Some were certainly very unlikable but Trollope's writing style pulled me in. This was my first Anthony Trollope novel. I will be reading more!
