the creep factor of this book!
This book was made for me #iSayFuckAlot
"She could shut out the world, including herself "
Charlotte Reagan brings to life a vibrant tale of young love, diverse sexuality and hilarious teenage banter in “Just Juliet.” This story is neither gloomy nor cozy but rather an affectionate story that could be…real life. There are no major signs of teenage angst or overly zealous plot lines in this book. There is however, a real and raw truth that I believe many young adults can identify with.
"If you love me more today than you loved me yesterday, then I can't wait for tomorrow," she says.
Banned Book week and this is my pick
of Fire and Stars is the book that I needed to read a decade ago. The world needs this lgbt friendly YA masterpiece
"No, honey. My tattoos are permanent — it's my BODY that's temporary. And so is yours. We're here on earth for a very short while. I just want to decorate my temporary self as playfully and beautifully as I can, while I still have time."
Because beautiful things, even when temporary, still manage to leave part of their beauty with you
Even in the future the story behind with one upon a time.
A stunning debut novel, the imagery painted for this 1900‘s Paris patisserie is flawless. I fell in love with character Gui and his journey to discover how to create the perfect pastries. While this is a story about forbidden love, it simultaneously tells of a passion for pastries. From croquembouche to religieuse, “The Confectioner‘s Tale” will leave you with a delightful and dazzling craving for a true Paris patisserie.
Girl Mans Up is absolutely riveting. Stepping inside of Pen‘s head as she figures out how she views herself and who she wants to become, I fell in love with her. Often times girls who dress “like boys” are viewed as something more. I implore you to read this if for no other reason than to chance being able to understand someone who may be different than you. As Blake would say, “this wins everything,” and I‘ll add that M.E Girard wins at life.
