I liked this one.... I did t have any expectations going into this. I listened to the audiobook. The narrator did a good job changing voices for all the characters. The ending got a bit confusing because it jumped around from character perspectives when the majority of the book was one perspective.

LOVE this book! I like the development of the characters and the similar life themes of the two main females. Great story and great insight into the world of dance!

I was hopeful about this one. It sounds like a great set up and an interesting story. The middle was very slow and I needed to skim a lot. The beginning and end are both very good!

I really enjoyed this book! It‘s a memoir about growing up with parents who hoard. Hoarding runs in my family on both my mom and dad‘s side which has made me vigilant of this condition. Also, as a therapist I am interested in things that people struggle with. This is a beautifully written story. If you are looking for gory details though, don‘t read this. This book comes from a respectful place of trying to understand hoarding and anxiety.

Bailedbailed

I really did not want to bail on a second book this month but honestly.... I cannot figure out where this story is going. It is very slow. I just can‘t....

This is a straight therapy book. I only recommend this to people in the helping professions. It has great information on vicarious trauma and outlines a clear self care plan if you are struggling. Also there are great stories in it to highlight the struggle we go through. There were a few parts that were hard to get through but it really opens your eyes to what you might probably be experiencing.

I am IN LOVE with this series! Well.... technically it‘s just two books right now but I have high hopes for a six book set 😊 It is magical and wonderous! The characters are lovable and the main character Morrigan is the best little girl ever!

Bailedbailed

I really wanted to like this book because it seemed like a good concept. I could not get into it- the writing was hard to follow and I kept asking myself who each person was. Not memorable characters.

This was my first book of 2019! And I couldn‘t put it down. Immediately it is easy to read and flows so nicely. The characters are relatable and the hardship is palpable if you have personal experience. A beautiful story! I got to meet the author who is amazing and so down to earth- it‘s not surprising that she is as relatable as her books!
