The Glass Castle: A Memoir | Jeannette Walls
Mehso-so

The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls is a drama filled tale based on a mind twisting memior. A family living in povery with a father who is determind to make his as well as his dreams come true, well, when he's sober. As well as a mother who would choose disapline as her last resort, their four kids must learn to take care of themselves. (rest in comments)

KenzieMakin04 Often without food and all the necessities most families need to live a semi-happy life. They also live their poor lives with no stability, moving from place after place, month after month. They learn to survive in poverty while throwing away their childhoods.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to imagine what they are reading or someone who likes reading about other people's struggles throughout there own lives. 7/10

Pickpick

“The Hate You Give” is a book about a young black girl, who was driving with her friend on her way home from a party and a cop pulls them over. The cop asks the driver to step out of the car and the cop shoots him shortly after. This causes riots and a big movement run by a teenage girl. I‘d rate this book an easy 10/10! It was amazing to read and really kept me engaged and wanting to keep reading. I‘d recommend this book to anyone who reads.

MissYaremcio Nicely done Kenzie! This seems to be a very popular novel! Angie Thomas is a very talented author! I was just missing your POV and how it was established! 4/6 4y

Pickpick

For me this book is an easy 10/10. I loved every second of this book. It is very well written and very descriptive. If you love books that can be very easily turned into something that could be real life, this book is for you. Angie Thomas did an amazing job at making the readers connect with the characters. I highly recommend this book to all readers.

MissYaremcio Thank you for the review Kenzie! Totally agree- she‘s an amazing author! I would have liked a bit more of a summary and you were missing the motif and explanation, but otherwise good work! 3/6 4y
