The Underground Railroad is a necessary read for everyone. Whitehead does such a wonderful job fleshing out the experiences of slavery and really widening the our scope from what we remember from school, other films, and literature. This is not an entertaining read, it's a life-changing one.

Threw my back out so it's the couch and reading for me. This is our next book club pick, and I'm loving it! Rustic landscapes and rich imagery. It's wonderful. ❤️

A multi-generational novel about three women and the way our culture scrutinizes (and talks about) women. A timely novel and beautifully written, as always with Gabrielle Zevin. I'm gobbling this book up!

Finishing up A Man Called Ove this weekend for my monthly book club. I'm still deciding how I feel about it, but so far, so good!

This series is utterly fascinating, and I'm increased. If you have read this read, start it!
