This book is hard to put down, I was gripped and every time I thought I'd just finish the chapter I would read more. The twists and turns keep coming, with small details being revealed until the very end where the mystery is solved. I will be reading this again.

First of the Tudors | Joanna Hickson

I'm not great on history so I don't know how accurate to life then this book is, but I enjoyed it. The characters all have their endearing or annoying characteristics and you feel as though you know them all, I would read again.

This book is a tough read, it's very emotional, and some themes may cause distress depending on circumstances, but I found it beautiful, sad, happy, and moving. I would recommend it, but read the blurb first, it does deal with some sensitive topics.

Goodness me this book had me absolutely hooked, the story of a missing child which draws you in, no chapters to separate the story keeps you enthralled as you search with the mother. This book Really makes you feel every emotion of the characters through the stunning writing!

This book is quite typical in its unashamed chic lit fun. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it has enough twists and turns to keep you guessing till the end while being easy to follow.

This was a long read and a huge undertaking. I bought the box set so the book was broken down into 7 more manageable and less daunting books. I love the films but I found the book versions even better! There are extra characters in the book who add more depth and the descriptions are outstanding! I have read it twice so far and will definitely be reading it again, leave plenty of time for this one!

This book is beautiful, the stories of a grandmother, mother and daughters lives and struggles in communist china. The author draws you into her family, you'll laugh, cry and feel exhausted as she did. My sister recommended this book to me, and I recommend it to whoever reads this.

This book is great, a murder mystery told through the eyes on a child on the autistic spectrum. If memory serves me rightly he has aspergers. This book is almost a coming of age one, in that the main character goes through many changes, and coming to many realisations about life. I highly recommend this book, it's stunning.

I'm currently reading this again having read it several times before, a wonderful insight into the life of a geisha, told beautifully, you'll smile, cry and wince feeling Sayuri's emotions as your own.

I love this book, it's beautifully written, very moving, and looks at life as an asylum seeker in a way I've never seen before or since.
