I wasn‘t sure about this book at first, but was entranced immediately and read it in three hours! Keep a tissue nearby though for the last third of the book!

Read this. It is the best window into the American occupation of Iraq I have read. Chandrasekaran shows the truth of American “success” in Iraq and how we were the largest obstacle to the recovery after the toppling of Saddam.
Less mystery, more random conversation. Mystery wasn‘t really a mystery.
♥️ Monday night: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and real Moroccan mint tea ♥️
1949 edition of one of my favourite childhood series. Time for a re-read! #nancydrew #takesmebacktomychildhood #evenbetterwithcoffee #whyisthefontsobig
‘Do you know what the worst bit about dying is?‘~‘Tell me, Gran.‘~‘You never get to see how it all turns out.‘ 💫
Terry Pratchett‘s works seem silly and fantastic, but somehow, they seem to reflect reality!
I really got into this, but after the main action, I was left wanting something more from the ending. It was just a bit anti-climactic and left me wanting a better, more solid resolution to the novel.
I love this book! It is a bit young and has such large print, but it still gets me every time!
Sunday morning reads with specialty chocolate-orange coffee!
“One morning we woke to find that all of the liquor in the house had been dumped down the sink and a makeshift mobile of empty bottles and silverware was attached to the kitchen light fixture. Matthew and I laughed, but as far as Sarah was concerned, this was war. From that moment my aunt and the house were in an all-out battle for supremacy.” ~~~Love this book❣️
Last morning in Castleton and the Peak District! Time for some coffee and starting a new book.

Break from reading to enjoy this fabulous movie!
Just finished Outlander today and started watching the show--which is the most true-to-book show I've seen in a long time--and my Mom and I got into a discussion about Jamie...
Only 1,000 steps is what happens when you reread all of Outlander in one day! 😂
Beginning my Real Time Reading! This trilogy is magical...
Time to reread this series! (Dublin, Ireland)
Of course my train got in to Dublin with only THIRTY PAGES LEFT!!! Ah! Absolutely killed me to get off and walk to my hostel to check in! I ADORED this book. I would recommend to anybody! Tea and reading at Giant's Causeway outside of Bushmills, Northern Ireland!
First morning in England! I think staying awake for 36 hours leading up to last night was the way to beat jet-lag!
"For the big idea--could be religion, could be politics, could be the race you belong to, or your clan, or philosophy, or economics, or your sex or just how many bleeding Guineans you got stashed in the counting house. Doesn't matter, because the big idea is always the same--wouldn't it be good if only everyone was the same as me--if only everyone else thought and acted and worshipped and looked like me, everything would become paradise on earth.
Guinness, dessert, and books at Old Ebbitt Bar & Grill in Washington DC!
