I'm starting this book today! I can't wait - I'm not sure when (if ever) I've read a book based in Australia. And isn't the cover GORGEOUS?!?!

Being basic while I read 😉 seriously though this book was fabulous! I love Ann Patchett's attention to detail, and how she can make even the most mundane of activities seem crucial to the story. Definitely going to be a hit!
Reading this book on a rainy Sunday!! Good so far :)
LOVED this book! My favorite read of 2016 so far!
Favorite dysfunctional family story, Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy for the #24in48 giveaway! Sweeping southern family saga at its finest. @Litsy #readathon
Finished "Smoke" and after a lunch and work out break, back to it with "Grace"! Book two here we go ;) #24in48
The premise of this book is incredibly original and creative, and I loved the Victorian setting. The story had a strong opening and I was hooked in the first section. However, as the story continued I got a bit bogged down with the plot lines and my confusion ultimately overpowered my emotional connection to the characters. Lots of potential for future great works from this writer, just would've benefited with a little more clarity in plot!
Growing up in the 90s, I've always been intrigued by this case. Although this book is definitely biased, it presents a lot of interesting tidbits and helps me see the bigger picture behind the strategies of each law team.
