I can't believe I never posted this bit from You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost)! It was a great book, funny and also inspiring. I really like this part on how to make yourself create when it seems, as Felicia Day puts it, "agonizing."

"Life is amazingly tenacious." From The Martian. Taken a bit out of context, but I really like this quote.
A look into the mind of a man trapped alone on Mars... 😂 I'm currently reading The Martian by Andy Weir. 👽 tbh a lot of the science stuff confuses me, but other than that I'm enjoying it so far.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars for Forgive me My Salt by Brenna Twohy. I got this in the mail earlier today and I've already finished it. I'll probably reread it within the next couple of days because I loved it, and because good poetry gets better with rereading. Brenna Twohy's poems are emotional and raw, and she tells her stories in a voice that is uniquely her own. I also liked the way she uses humor in some poems to ease into tough subjects. Do recommend.
I have work to get done but I just want to keep reading this book! I'm only a couple of chapters in but so far I am loving it.
There are all kinds of addicts, I guess. We all have pain. And we all look for ways to make the pain go away.
I suddenly understood that if every moment of a book should be taken seriously, then every moment of a life should be taken seriously as well.
Currently Reading. Enjoying it so far!
