Fun as hell
Now available and ready for your eyeball(s): John Oliver Hodges‘s new novel, Quizzleboon: a redneck fairy tale about Leon Hicks, a one-eyed outlaw who joins an anarchist collective in the hills of North Carolina. Guided by an imaginary man from the moon named Mr. Quizzleboon, Leon searches within these dirt people for a sense of family that seems forever out of reach.
9PM:
A series of loud bangs at my front door. My dogs go berserk. I open the door a crack and peer into the darkness. Our porch light has been dead for years. The dogs sense something foul and retreat to the kitchen. "Hello?" I whisper, but nobody answers. I shine my phone flashlight and spot the intruder.
Kindle's hot with dope ARCs at the moment. Can barely touch it without my hand sizzling.
Christmas book haul!
Not as perfect as THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME but still pretty magical. I think if he'd cut a certain storyline, it would have flowed much smoother.
There are about two or three truly excellent novellas in this collection. Everything else...kinda disappointing.
Contributor copies arrived! So goddamn beautiful.
Limited hardcovers sold out and shipping. eBook now available. Paperbacks coming sooooon.
Reads smooth like early King. If you aren't reading Paul Michael Anderson's BONES ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN, what the hell are you even doing with your life?
An unnecessary abundance of horse cock so far in Cutter's latest.
This is the greatest terrible cover for a book I truly love (it's also signed by Ketchum himself!).
