This was a well written book but not for me. The ending just felt too rushed after reading the terrible ordeal suffered by the children.

Great audiobook! I don‘t always love audiobooks but I couldn‘t stop listening to this one!

Wonderful start to this series. The people of Lumatere go through great suffering but their fierce love for each other and their homeland make for a very emotional book. Be warned the book deals with some pretty dark material regarding the brutal effects of war on women and families.

Halfway through the audiobook and loving it. I‘ll definitely be reading Fangirl next!
