Cute love story for sure. Loved the small town setting and the spooky fall plot line. Definitely less on the intellectual side of things and a bit predictable but was perfect for a fun low stakes read

The best way I can describe this book is by the quote on the back cover- “a funny book at which you are not permitted to laugh, a sad book without tears.” I didn‘t really know what to expect going in to this, but Vonnegut really just solidified his place as one of my favorite authors. He is just able to bring to light some of the realest and most shocking human qualities in a satirically funny way. This is a book I definitely need to read again
I literally finished this book in 12 hours- I couldn‘t put it down. Although I don‘t love cheating plot lines, I really liked how this was about growth and overcoming past mistakes. It was really sweet, and effortlessly combines friends to enemies to lovers. Kathleen was a character who was real and relatable, and it was so easy to find yourself rooting for her and Cal from the first page.
Ali is one of my favorite authors, so I was so excited to read. I loved it, but not my favorite of her books. Instead of taking the enemies and misunderstanding approach of her last 2 books, this male protagonist was pretty clear with his feelings from the start. It was super cute how he helped her find herself while also falling in love with him. I couldn‘t put it down. Also way more spicy scenes than her other books if you‘re into that stuff.
Reread of one of my favorite books of all time. So beautiful and heart wrenching. The male protagonist was so much more caring and loving than any real man could ever be. Also obsessed with the he loves her so much more trope. Restores my faith in love and makes my heart feel so full
I love Emily Henry with my whole heart. This book was beautiful, emotional, silly and tear jerking. She writes love so well, and I was giggling and swooning and crying over this book. I get people don‘t like the whole miscommunication trope, but I thought it was so worth the build up to the end. I fell in love with the characters and couldn‘t put this book down
I loved this book because I was already in love with the characters, but it wasn‘t the most exciting thing in the world and took me longer to read despite it‘s shorter length. But it still was super cute and a nice romance break from the classic war and death. The worst part in the book (as with the others) is Nesta and her continually insufferable attitude
Omg I loved this book. I couldn‘t put it down for all 600 pages and everytime I had to stop reading I was counting the minutes until I could read again. The romance was impeccable, and the plot was unexpected and riveting. This may not be super intellectual but damn I loved this book
My sister recommended this and I didn‘t think I would love it, but I ended up finishing it in a day. Fantasy normally isn‘t my thing but this was such a fun and pleasantly predictable read. The end was a little gory and dark, but the romance was exactly what I was looking for. I never get sick of the beauty and beast trope. Can‘t wait to read more
I absolutely loved this book. It has been on my list for a while and I didn‘t know what to expect. I loved how real and authentic it felt, and getting perspective from different characters was essential in developing the reader‘s deep understanding at the end of the book. This book was real, heartbreaking and beautiful
Quick, cute and fun read but sometimes I just got sick of the teenage angst. Love sarah dessen forever though
This was a classic Colleen Hoover book- heartbreaking but also such a beautiful theme. I finished it in a day. Colleen Hoover gets so much hate on her writing but she writes such a beautiful romance that is just realistic enough that I can still believe in it and hope for something like these characters have
This was a super cute young adult book that had an important message and plot- the only issue I had was that the ending was rushed and it didn‘t quite wrap up as cleanly as I would have liked- but still a fun read!
This was a great book- the format was really interesting and allowed the readers to feel connected to the characters. He is such a poetic writer. Also the plot line was great- would absolutely recommend
One of my favorite cute little romance books. The male love interest is written so well, and they have such a wholesome love story. At times, it is very clear that this book is written by a millennial and some of the subplots can become distracting, but overall this is an awesome and super cute book that makes you hope this kind of love is real
This book was amazing and I couldn‘t put it down. The imagery is beautiful, and the story combines a thriller with a coming of age story. The author has an exceptional ability to intertwine humor with horror, and has beautifully described the protagonist‘s relationship with spirituality and death. I would absolutely recommend
I really liked the concept of this book, but it definitely had me cringing at times. At certain parts, it was odd and poorly written, but despite this I flew through the book in a day. There were a lot of really romantic and sweet parts, and overall it was super entertaining. I would recommend to people looking for a quick and engaging romance as long as you are willing to look past some weird, unrealistic and toxic elements
Beautifully written and heart wrenching. I couldn‘t put it down near the final chapters. I would absolutely recommend to everyone whether they like Greek mythology or not
This book is a masterpiece. It is beautifully written and has you laughing and crying at the same time. The collection of short stories is artfully woven together to create a complex portrait of life as a Spokane Indian. This novel is important and extremely impactful, and it is absolutely worth the read.
I just finished rereading this book for the second time, and I couldn‘t put it down. Although it‘s definitely cliched and cringey at times, it is the perfect mindless romance and has really cute moments that made me giggle and kick my feet. As a chemist, I‘m also definitely biased to a good academic lovers trope:) My ex roommates hates this book, but this seems to mean she is a cynic who doesn‘t believe in love
This was a great read. It gave a perspective that inspired empathy and respect and was written beautifully. Would absolutely recommend
