Oh my goodness, @Beck9lol - this is the cutest blanket I have ever encountered! I didn't even know blankets like this existed! Thank you so much! And what a great book choice! Thank you thank you thank you! #blanketandabookswap #bookandblanketswap #blanketandabook @Tiffy_Reads @JoeStalksBeck
I loved this book so much. It was the best literary fiction I've read in a long time. Tommy Snuffles agrees, and this is how he's going to look at people who don't read it. #botm #bookofthemonthclub
Great debut novel. Some elements of Great Gatsby but with an African American family in North Carolina. Really beautiful writing.
Really enjoyed this book about two women who (sort of) find common ground in South Africa. Quick read, humorous, moving, and intelligent.
My #24in48 readathon is maybe going to be #12in24, but I started with a very enjoyable YA read. Has some depth, but still funny and heartwarming. Heartwarming enough to get the cats kissing.
"I said I want the Fancy Feast, not a book that casually mentions the Fancy Feast!"
Despite my cat's objections, this book is wonderful: beautiful language, emotionally resonant, and quite funny. And yes, even books about translators searching for missing authors in Brazil can mention Fancy Feast.
Well, this picture did not come out that good, but this audiobook was delightfully creepy. Although I was skeptical at first about some of the repetition, I ended up really enjoying. Have just heard that this is an extension of THE BONE CLOCKS - will have to read that soon.
Beautiful book. Interesting subject matter, great and complicated relationships. Also perfectly captured growing up in New York State in the 80s.
