Stopped in at Elaine's Books, a "new" used-book store on Duckworth Street in downtown St. John's Newfoundland last week and found these. Elaine has set aside separate sections for fiction from Newfoundland & Labrador, and another for other Canadian fiction. She has lots of non-Canadian books too.
It's well worth a visit!
Reading duplicate titles. I wonder if I will have better experience with this author.

From my library haul yesterday: starting with this, a new-to-me author. This is set In small-town New Brunswick; my Atlantic-Canadian fix for this week.
One of those books you start to read at 10 pm and you're still reading at 3 am. The cat thinks it's great to curl up with a good book, as long as he gets petted.
This vintage book (1976) by Bob Rosenthal is being re-released on April 12th. Sounds like fun!
