pickThis book was so informative but it made me emotional as well. I feel horrible for the Lacks family! There's a perfect mix of storyline and factual information so that as a reader you're able to follow and thoroughly understand how wrong this situation was. I now understand why older African-Americans don't go to the doctor. It's not just because they can't afford to but because they don't trust the doctors. AMAZING story.
