Despite the fact their relationship moved entirely too quickly, to the point I was like WTF, it was still an enjoyable read. Although not as much as the others in the series. If memory serves, there‘s pęggïñg in this one. Spicy girlies unite (srsly tho I need friends)

I have fallen down a Katee Robert rabbit hole but the fact that the Wicked Villains series ties into Dark Olympus, is just the greatest thing ever for me. An Aladdin retelling that will leave your childhood ruined but your adulthood fully sated. Thank me later babes. 🫶🏼

The characters are going through so much but their feelings are written down in an understanding way even though they are difficult to understand, which I LOVE.

All I can say of this is WTF did I spend my time reading? It doesn't get actually interesting until page 200 and then at that point there's only like 45-47 pages left. That was by far the most interesting point in the book because of the only climax. The writing was also confusing. They say that repetition of the same word 3 times is a sign of insanity, so I mean... 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm just saying, if you loved this kudos to you but it wasn't for me.

I would say that if you're looking for something semi-thrilling/dangerous in a romantic aspect, this is for you. I liked it, but I didn't love it. Some parts of the book were hard to push myself through because I was just bored with it. However, I did end up liking the book, especially the sweet ending!

Because I have to. The sun keeps rising, and the seasons keep changing, and these are still people here I don't want to lose.

Very glad I took the chance because I‘m about half way in and it‘s giving me Romeo and Juliet/Hatfield and McCoy‘s vibes. 🤩 Has anyone else read this? What are your opinions? Any other feuding families you can relate this book to? 🤔

Definitely pick! I loved it through and through. The first part was a little twisty but it straightens itself out and turns into one grand story!

Having an hour long real between my classes means I have a little more time for reading!

I bought these three books at my local bookstore for $13.11! I am SHOOK 🤩

In Caraval, they warn you to get swept away but not too far away... and I‘ve already broken that rule. “Remember— it‘s only a game...” was so hard for me because it‘s so much more than that. It‘s a love story, a fairytale, a whole separate world apart from any we know. I was enticed by Caraval and captivated by Legendary. I mean, really?! How could you not? I felt like a player in the game that really wasn‘t a game in this. 🎪🎭

And so, it begins again: Night One of Caraval!

I get so busy sometimes that I forget to update when I‘ve finished a book or not, haha. I loved this book even more than the first. It just gives off a better vibe and is more fluid with how the story progresses. I‘m excited to see where the third book takes me to next. :)

I would totally say I‘m in love with this series. I jumped straight into the second book because I just couldn‘t wait to find out what happened.

I love this book so much. ❤️😅 usually I‘m pretty good at figuring out the twists of a book, but this one just kept my head spinning. I thought it would go one way, and it turned out the exact opposite. I‘m not one to reread many books, but I‘ll definitely be reading this one many more times!

Just started the second book in the Matched series and thought I share this poem that is mentioned throughout the first book. ❤️

But now I feel like finding out about him is one of the ways I find out about myself. I did not expect to love his words. I did not expect to find myself in them.

Is falling in love with someone‘s story the same thing as falling in love with the person himself?

A line from that other poem, the Tennyson one, comes to mind suddenly: The flood may bear me far.

If I had kept the poems from Grandfather, I‘d be riding on a flood that I couldn‘t stop. I did what I had to do; I did the right thing. But it is as though the rain outside pours on me, too, eroding my relief and leaving only regret: The poems are gone, and I can never get them back.
