I‘m so excited that Anna Day and Chicken House Books sent me a copy of The Fandom Rising! My heart has never wanted a book so much!

I got a proof copy of No Fixed Address from Andersen Press at YALC - Thank you so much.
No Fixed Address tells the story of a boy named Felix and his Mum Astrid, who, by no fault of Felix‘s are forced to live in a camper in Vancouver. The book is incredibly readable, it‘s light and funny and it tackles some very tough subjects. Most importantly it looks at the hidden homeless, and the challenges they face.
I would definitely recommend it!
Sacha Black sent me this gorgeous uncorrected proof copy of her new book Victor, the second book in her Eden East series, and she signed it too! What a sweetheart!
This book was fantastic! It‘s so rare that you get queer high fantasy and this was executed so well! The characters and the world-building are beyond incredible!
Litsy Friends Assemble!
Does anyone have a spare Blackjack pin from the recent Nerdy Post Percy Jackson Box? My good friend lost hers and I would love to be able to replace it for her! I‘m willing to pay for it!
I would absolutely recommend this book if you want a chill, summer read. It deals with some big issues but in a way that isn‘t too heavy and doesn‘t detract from the story. The characters are fun and relatable. It‘s awesome! (I hope there is a sequel of some sort)
I got all this gorgeous shadowhunters swag for my birthday!
This book is such a great read so far! It‘s written a lot like the beginning of The Crimson Petal and the White. It‘s a really immersive experience. It‘s really funny too. More history books should be written like this, it would have made my degree so much easier!
I‘m reading on Kindle and the formatting is a little off but it‘s not distracting from the book!
My girlfriend and I were buddy reading this and we both hit 100 pages in and we‘re still totally lost. We both really struggled to picture the world that Miéville was describing and left each chapter largely confused. I also found the use of & instead of the word and was really jarring and took me out of the text. It‘s a real shame because I love the concept.
I came into this book after having watched the tv show on Netflix. I was initially worried that it would feel quite repetitive having watched the tv show so recently. I was totally wrong. It felt more like I was catching up with old friends, and yes it covered the same ground as the tv show but I felt like the book had way more emotional beats. Naomi is bad ass!
I got this book out of the library and I literally devoured it in a night. I sometimes got a bit muddled with all the characters but it was really interesting and obviously pretty hard for me to put down! I'm unsure if I enjoyed it more than The Girl On the Train or not but either way, I really enjoyed it!
Buddy reading this with @Hearthstone and Beccy after picking up at YALC. M.A Bennett was lovely and has a cute autograph!
I'm Adina/Miss New Hampshire for today at YALC! I'm with Miss Texas and Miss Mississippi.
Had some Waterstones vouchers from work so picked up these! I'm really excited to read more by Christina Henry as I tore through Alice so quickly! The Axeman's Jazz was in the recommended section so I took a punt on it!
I have some Waterstones vouchers and aside from the above book I don't know what to get! Please help when recommendations!
This book is changing our house. Library find ever! I was a bit skeptical at first because it seems kind of obvious but it has some great tips about storage and cleaning and that sort of thing. It's a really relaxing read full of challenges!
I can do this, I've been putting off reading it for so long. I just don't want the series to be over.
My other half bought me some much more fun books from Waterstones! We're hoping that The Left Hand of Darkness ends up being this months Sword and Laser pick!
My haul from the library which pretty accurately represents my life right now.
Just finished this charming book. I devoured it in a couple of sittings so...I must have enjoyed it!
What's your favourite location in the Dragon Age Universe?
My slightly water damaged current read because it took a partial dunk in our paddling pool.
I am seriously considering re-reading this beautiful series. I'm feeling a lot like Francine at the moment.
