Super fun book! Too many references to sexual body responses, though there is technically no sex in the book until the very end, and even then, it is merely alluded to rather than described (which is fine by me). But really- the story line is interesting. The concept is interesting. The dialogue doesn‘t suck... most of the time. I‘m ready for the next in the series.

This book is heartbreaking but also offers hope. What did you think of it?

wordslinger42 I just finished reading it and loved it! I thought it was so cool how he incorporated the story of Saint Nicholas in with Scripture 😊 6y

Dark Deceit | Cathie Dunn

This book is... ok. It held my interest enough to get through it, and it's short, so that helped too. But... it's lacking something. And the ending is very unsatisfactory. Maybe others liked it better...??

Finished my banana book finally! Such a wealth of information! I was moved, angered, resigned, and hopeful! I hope you enjoy this book too!

"I thought that my midlife season would be about pushing into a new future ... and it is. I thought it would be about leaving behind the expectations and encumbrances of the past. It is. What I didn‘t know is that it would feel so much like recovering an essential self, not like discovering a new one."
This book is amazing. I'm learning so much about myself, even through someone else's perspectives on her own life, never having met me.

This is from What is Unschooling... "It is about creating a different kind of learning environment for your children. An environment based on the understanding that humans learn best when they are interested and engaged, and when they are personally involved and motivated."
