Just finished this one and WOW! Basil has been blessed by a fairy to be ordinary, but she's a princess and can't stand the comparison with her talented sisters.
Loved this one because I believe it can be so inspiring to kids (and adults) who fear their lives are...too normal? Not of any notice? Because we all have a bit of a dragonslayer in us.

I'm 50% into this book and though the pace sometimes it's odd it's heartwarming to read. It reminds me a bit of The Five Person You Meet in Heaven even though the writing style is completely different

This book. I swear, I haven't read something this funny and witty in a while and I love it. 70% done with it and I don't want it to end.

A Little Princess was one of my favourite book as a child. I re-read it recently and I still love it. Sarah and her stoic belief in being good no matter what is still inspiring to me.
