

This was a meh read. I had hoped it would be better. Skimmed through the last few pages. The first half was really engaging but the back half just felt like a slog through the same emotional territory over and over. Maybe it was too close to home.

This was a pretty good read. There were some unique elements that made me want to keep going when I should have stopped to do things like...work. The language and writing is a pleasure.
Starting the 9th book of 100 for the year. 50 waiting on the tbr list looking for 41 more!
