I gave Layla 4/5 stars on good reads. I went from content, to scared, to annoyed beyond belief to hopeful, all during this fairly short book. I do feel there could have been a bit more detail and character development, I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

Oh my heart ❤️ with this one. It read similar to an Ellen Hopkins Novel for a story line, without the poetic and artistic writing! 5/5 stars from me

“I‘m convinced that people come across others in life whose souls are completely compatible with their own. Some refer to them as soul mates. Some refer to it as true love.”

My weekend listen ✨ I have the next in the 3 part series in my library. Solid 4/5 stars on this one 💜

I gave this four stars on good reads. Overall the story was great and I really enjoyed this twists. I think the pace didn‘t necessarily agree with me, but that may just be a personal reaction!

This was my audio book for the start of the week. I enjoyed the way the story was told, I wanted to hear til the end to figure out what was happening. I loved the character development and if you‘re wanting a quick suspense read, I‘d recommend picking this one up!

Oh my heart... I couldn‘t put this book down and the ending had me sobbing. I love this book but I want a sequel 😭

“You tread lightly through life, but you leave deep footprints that are hard for other people to fill.” “There comes a point where you have to make the choice to be happy, because being sad for too long is exhausting.”

This was the sequel none of us knew we needed! I am glad I didn‘t re-read bird box before diving in, a lot of the inner dialog highlights the influential parts from that story. It is a good journey with lots of suspense and thrill! I just want to know more about these dang ‘things‘ still! If you were invested in bird box, it is def. worth the read!

I picked this up today. I never anticipated a sequel to bird box, but now it seems so obvious... what happens to the world?! Has anyone read this? I am about 10% through and am unsure what to expect next.

JudeCC Currently reading! 😃 4y
Annabelle22 @WJCintron we‘re in this one together! Haha 4y
JudeCC @Annabelle22 😃👍 I finished and I loved it. Not such a fan of Tom, to be honest, but I really enjoyed the book! Keep me posted on your end. 😃 4y
Annabelle22 @WJCintron I finished last night! I was sooo happy with the ending but Malorie was getting on my nerves this book! Haha which is funny because I‘d probably be exactly like her in that situation. The sequel none of us knew we needed! 4y

Decided to start this tonight, I am only up to chapter six and I am in tears. Read the books before if you want to get into this, they are all so so worth it.

So. Much. Suspense. The main character is hard to like which makes her that much more likable. I loved this book and I didn‘t want it to end. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars from me and you should pick it up soon!
