I wasn't sure we would ever get this book, but I'm so glad we did. I have missed Ruthie Knox's complicated and conflicted heroines so much. Knox continues to have fascinating things to say about women, love and their desires and needs. I loved the dynamics between Allie and Winston and what they bring to each other.
This book really worked for me. The Dark Moment when it came was resolved in such an organic and believable way to how the characters where written. Fantastic story about roots and belief
Recommend by a co-worker. This is my new audiobook. Interested in the setting. Going in completely blind into the plot. I do love Davina Porter as narrator.
I love how this chase has shown all the lovers who they are right for! 'I mean to marry Mary Challloner because I'm devilish sure I can't live without her!'
' A devil of a husband. I am sport for your wife - or I should be if I were a man'.
I've been reading all the books in this series one after another. They are very funny, and even though they tackle tough issues, it does so with joyfulness. And I've gotten attached to all the wacky secondary characters. They are all on KU and mostly feature Bear shifters with Dragons, Raven, Gorillas and Tigers mixed in.
I'm really loving this book. Deployed gamer falls for Twitch (video gamer streaming) celeb over email and gchat. Great tension and emotional story.
Starting a murder mystery set in 1919 Alaska. Suffragette and Journalist Charlotte Brody has arrived in Alaska looking for stories and to get away from her own past.
Loved this romance. Bourne always delivers top notch lot of spy-intrigue while bring wryly funny. I loved how much the hero and heroine respect each other's skills and instincts. Their love is born out of that mutual respect and admiration. They all so put each other's lives first always.
I'm really loving this book. Veronica is intelligent, resourceful, adventurous and delightfully prickly.
Nearing the end of CS Harris's What Angels Fear. I think StCyr knows who the murderer is at this point after multiple red herrings. I feel the book has definitely dragged at points but I like the series elements/tensions established, so I'll read more. I quite enjoyed the narration.
First morning of summer vacation. Love being able to wake up and stay in bed reading. Still binging on KU shifter books.
I've read the first three books in this series on KU, which means I can be very forgiving of the occasional eye-rolling oddities. I like the aggressive heroines and pack dynamics. The worldbuilding is bit wonky but the series has been fun overall.
