No Time to Lose | Geronimo Stilton

Pickpick

Geronimo is at work one day when he notices that the environment seems off, pigeons are woozy, seagulls feathers are slick with oil and everyone is suffering from allergies. All of a sudden, Geronimo's friend who happens to be a secret scientist calls him and tells him that if Geronimo and his family don't go back in time, the environment will not be able to be reversed.

Aidan_Jovanovic Geronimo agrees and they go to Napoleon's court in France, by mistake, and Geronimo has to save his own tail from being cut off. After that, Geronimo's mischievous cousin Trap sends them to the era of the Vikings. Geronimo helps unite two villages and avoids a colossal war. After, they go to the time of King Solomon and find the true secret to saving the environment. 4y
Aidan_Jovanovic This book is in First Person view, as Geronimo is the one talking. This view helps emphasize the point that Geronimo was actually there and the whole story wasn't a complete and utter hoax. It also gives us insight on what Geronimo was thinking, which helps convey the story. 4y

The Iron Tomb | Peter Vegas

Pickpick

This book was about a young boy named Sam Force, who goes looking for his uncle in Egypt. On his way to find his uncle, he meets a young lady on the plane named Mary Verulam.Together the two search for Sam's uncle. Sam's uncle left clues as to what he was looking for before his disappearance. Little does Sam know that someone is after him.

Aidan_Jovanovic If you like books that contain mystery and excitement this is a great book as it keeps you in constant suspense the whole way through.
A recurring motif in the book is sand. They are in Egypt and the books mentions sand a lot. The importance of this motif is that they want to signify the vastness and many possibilities that could have happened throughout the book and how much variation there could have been in the ending of the book
