#Aprella This book was my first thought for today‘s prompt #VirtualInsanity 👾👾👾I read this as part of the #DystopianTravelingBook and I really enjoyed it, especially the 80‘s references. I‘ve been seeing mixed movie reviews...share your thoughts, Littens....Did Spielberg deliver!?!??

Cortg We saw the movie over the weekend. The characters and idea are the same as the book but the challenges were completely different. Not necessarily bad but definitely not as good as the book. We all felt like the 80‘s pop culture got lost in the movie, which is what I loved about the book. Overall, it had it‘s ups and downs. The graphics in the Oasis were great. 7y

emilyhaldi My husband saw the movie and said it's equally good as the book, just different. Hard to pack it all into the movie. He said they obviously capitalized on the action scenes and had to cut out a lot of the pop culture reference research details.. I'm not really interested in seeing the movie for some reason 🤷🏻‍♀️ 7y

AndreaReads I loved the book and I really liked the movie! It was fun, action-packed and was sort of like the book. If you compare it straight to the book, you won‘t like it, but if you remember that it does what movies do and pick and choose things from the book (and you‘re a fan of Spielberg‘s work) then you‘ll enjoy it! 7y
