My bridger-binge re-read continues! I think I read this in about four hours straight without moving. 😂

There were two things which really bothered me once I noticed them, I‘ll put them in comments.

Mrs_B At one point Colin leaves his house and then the rest of the chapter describes him in the house. Really annoyed me once I noticed it. 2mo
Mrs_B How can Penelope live a couple of blocks away?!? Blocks are just not a thing in the UK, especially London! 2mo
Bookbuyingaddict Ooohh so glad your loving 🥰 these I devoured them all before the tv series and moved on to her others which aren‘t half as good 😌 enjoy my lovely 🥰 x x x x 2mo
Mrs_B @Bookbuyingaddict thank you! I think this is my third re-read! I have to say I do like the smythe-smith ones too. :) 2mo

I am mentally exhausted at the moment from work and was in desperate need of a complete comfort read and this absolutely did the trick. I can‘t wait for Benedict‘s story to be the next Netflix season!

The fourth in Julia Quinn‘s bestselling BRIDGERTON SERIES is an entertaining Georgian romance where most of my interest came in seeing where the story and characters differ from the Netflix series. It utilises the trope of friends to lovers and although some of the writing isn‘t technically great (everyone feels the need to use each other‘s name all the time), there‘s some sharp dialogue and fun lines such that I‘d read the rest of the series.

Also started reading this title this weekend. Really enjoying the series!

I‘m going to give this a pick because I still enjoy the Bridgertons as a whole and love Eloise on the show (though she can be frustrating!), but if I had to pick one this would be my least favorite so far. It‘s not bad at all, just long with too much exposition for my taste and not enough action/dialogue. I do think Eloise and Phillip are a good couple and am interested to see how it plays out in the show. 3.5⭐️ #Bridgerton #audiobook #regency
