This was a good end to the original 8 books. It had the same/similar formula/plot line as the others. I kind of liked the climactic finally gets the person they love moment. I really wish though that she would have stopped with the compromising position trope and/or the ruined woman trope and yes it feels like a trope. I know that it would have happened in that era, it just got predictable.
Over all it was good. Nice palette cleanser read.
Started the last of the original Bridgerton series yesterday. I do so love the sassy of the Bridgertons.
This is the youngest son‘s love story, Gregory. So far good. It‘s a nice palette cleanser read for me.
I'm glad I listened to the audiobook for this one since I didn't know how the word "viscount" was pronounced ?
“‘Tonight I am transformed,‘ she whispered. ‘Tomorrow I shall disappear.‘”
My bridger-binge re-read continues! I think I read this in about four hours straight without moving. 😂
There were two things which really bothered me once I noticed them, I‘ll put them in comments.
I am mentally exhausted at the moment from work and was in desperate need of a complete comfort read and this absolutely did the trick. I can‘t wait for Benedict‘s story to be the next Netflix season!
