Atonement | Ian McEwan

Ian McEwan is a brilliant writer! This is a sad book really and at times I felt angry at the events that occurred and wanted it to be different. The war scenes kept me engaged which is amazing because I do not like reading about war. There are some important messages here and I highly recommend it #literature #fiction #travelbook

Centique I love this book but yes it made me so angry and wanted things to be different too! 6y

Read this twice now and it‘s a very good read in terms of how one person can overcome so much grief and despair and turn that into a marathon motorcycle trip and come out better. When you consider how he put most of the journey into inspiration for the Rush album, Vapor Trails - you can see how well the two translate together.

This was such an enjoyable read and it was great to get an insight into what you let yourself in for when you move to a new country! The beautiful landscapes of Greece are depicted so well and both perspectives of John and Chris are equally as funny, I extremely enjoyed reading this book! #greece #travelbook #johnhumphreys

The story is told through the perspective of Douglas and his feelings and emotions towards his family and the people he has met along the way as well as the ups and downs of his life. An enjoyable and funny book. #travelbook #us #davidnicholls

I snapped this up as soon as I saw it: Peanut Butter and Naan by Jennifer Hillman-Magnuson. A wife and husband take their 5 kids traveling. Can't wait to tuck in as my wife and I plan our next international adventures with our son and daughter. #travelbook #indieauthor #oregonauthor #travelauthor #Bookfair

This book made me hungry for their food but even more so for visiting #Egypt again. Love me a good #travelbook and Hector Abad Faciolince is my favourite living Latin American writer! 📚❤️ #septphotochallenge #somethingforsept
