I'm trying, I really am, but maybe YA just isn't for me anymore. At 200 pages in, I'm thankful that this is a fast read and I have coffee, because boy are these characters dull.

aprilpohren Adorable mug!! I love it!! 6y
Whodunit85 @aprilpohren Thanks! I collect penguins, this lil guy is my fave :) 6y
laurieluna I read a couple of YA fantasy books that I got in the Fairyloot boxes, and they were so similar I cancelled my subscription. Usually a princess or servant, with harsh father, aged 17 and trying to make something of herself. Qué learning to fight like a badass in no time at all, having hot guys all around and winning the day! 🙄 6y

Zelma I didn‘t like this book at all. I still read a little YA but am very picky and only once in awhile. 6y
Whodunit85 @laurenbescoby @Zelma I very much enjoyed the last John Green I read, and this looked interesting so I thought I'd continue giving YA it's shot... but my parent brain cannot handle this book. 6y
Megabooks I‘ve cut way down on the YA. I went from a 5-6 a month to maybe one. It just feels too unrelatable to my life. 6y
ravenlee I read 80 pages of this book and loathed it. I like YA, but it definitely calls for careful choosing of titles. So much of it is the same, but there are some gems in there. 6y
