Day 7 #JuneTunz OMG, You guys are amazing! One week down and I've seen such clever, fun, inspired posts!!! Today's song choice is from the super bookish & knowledgeable @CherylDeFranceschi ???? and all I can say is #Hallelujah today is my son's "Last Day of School" (have not read the book, but it sounds adorable) I'm sooo ready for summer vacation ?☀️?☀️

Reviewsbylola I'm the opposite. Summer vacation freaks me out! Genevieve gets the majority of her therapy at school, plus we lose the structure and routine. Two weeks into summer break though and I'm enjoying it much more! 7y

Cinfhen When my kids were younger, I dreaded summer @Reviewsbylola endless days of hearing "I'm bored" even though they had action packed days!!!! Now summer is so blissful ? 7y

merelybookish @My kids have been off since May 25th! 😑 I'm still mostly in the dread phase. But I do like a break from the early morning rush and routine! 7y

Cinfhen That's a long break @merelybookish do they go back early August? When my kids were younger, the best part about summer break was no carpools!!!!! 7y

merelybookish School goes back August 8th. They've really readjusted the summer holiday over the past few years. Memorial Day - early August. I find it disorienting but I guess where we live June is a nicer month than August. 🤷 eit's still two months of coordinating activities. 😲 7y

Cinfhen I hope all the classrooms have AC @merelybookish I'm not sure if I could get used to that schedule...although living in Israel, Sunday is a school day/work day, no school/work on Friday but it's always a shock come Sunday morning 😱 7y

Bklover I recently took early retirement (I'm 57) and my youngest daughter is16. I have found that I am LOVING her summer break. We read together, joined a gym together, and it's wonderful just getting to listen to her talk!❤️ 7y

Reviewsbylola That will probably happen to me too. 😂😂 My husband and I talk about all the fun stuff we will be able to do in a few years when our little ones are a bit older but I'm always thinking maybe we should have another one instead. 😂 7y

Andrew65 @Cinfhen Usually get six weeks but can be anything from 5 to six weeks. How long do you get? We usually start back around 1st September. 7y
